How the day works
A two person team arrives in a signwritten Luton van with straps, trolleys, blankets and floor protection. We work room by room, keeping any items you asked us to preserve safe and separate. Floors are covered where needed to protect flooring during heavy lifts. At the end we sweep every room, check the loft and outbuildings, and hand over the keys along with a Waste Transfer Note.
Timings
A small terrace part clearance can be done in under half a day. A three bed semi in Cheadle or Bramhall is typically a full day. A large four or five bed detached, a hoarded property or a home with a full loft, cellar and outbuildings usually runs across two days. We book realistic slots so the timeline does not slip.
Pricing
Every clearance is quoted individually rather than off a fixed price list, because no two houses hold the same contents or the same access. Volume, weight, floor level, loft and cellar access, whether the property is hoarded, and how much of the load counts as heavy waste all shift the number. For most clearances a short set of WhatsApp photos or a room by room walk through video is enough for a fair fixed quote. For larger, probate or hoarded properties we prefer a short site visit so the written price is realistic and the executor or family has a firm number to work with.
Recycling and donations
Reusable furniture and household goods are offered to local Stockport charities and reuse schemes where practical. Everything else is sorted at the transfer station so timber, metals, textiles, electricals and cardboard are recovered rather than landfilled.
