Construction waste removal in Stockport, no skip needed
Rubble from a knocked through wall, a bathroom strip out, plasterboard offcuts and the timber from a loft conversion. We load it all ourselves, work around your site, and take it to licensed facilities with a transfer note if you need one.

Why a skip is not always the right answer
On a lot of Stockport streets a skip is more trouble than it is worth. You need a permit if it goes on the road, it sits there for days getting filled by passers by, and you still have to barrow everything into it yourself. On a terraced job with no drive it is a non starter.
It is also priced by size rather than what you actually throw away. A half full skip costs the same as a full one, and rubble hits the weight limit long before the skip looks busy.
We turn up, load it, and go. Every job is priced individually because rubble, plasterboard and timber are all handled differently. Send photos on WhatsApp and we will come back with a fixed figure so you can compare it against a skip properly.
Working around a live site
Most of our trade work is mid job rather than at the end. A first fix leaves offcuts, a rip out leaves rubble, and neither can sit in the hallway while the next trade tries to work. We come in between, clear the pile and get out of the way.
We can do staged collections across a longer project so the drive never becomes a dumping ground. Builders in Stockport, the Heatons and Reddish use us that way, and so do homeowners project managing their own extension.
If access is tight, that is normal. Terraces with an entry, flats with a shared bin store, jobs where everything comes down two flights of stairs. We plan for the carry, not just the load.
Keeping the streams separate, and why it saves money
Construction waste is cheapest to dispose of when it is sorted. Inert material like brick and concrete goes for crushing. Timber gets chipped. Plasterboard has to go to a dedicated facility because gypsum cannot be landfilled with biodegradable waste.
If it is all mixed in one heap, the whole load gets priced at the highest rate. So if you can keep plasterboard and clean rubble in their own piles, we will pass the saving straight into the quote.
We separate at our end regardless. Metal comes out for scrap, packaging and cardboard are pulled off, and only genuine residue goes to general waste.
Duty of care for builders and contractors
If you produce construction waste as a business, the responsibility for where it ends up stays with you. Using an unregistered van is how contractors end up with a fine for waste that was fly tipped miles away.
We are registered with the Environment Agency as an upper tier waste carrier under licence CBDU607219, and you can check it on the public register. Every collection comes with a waste transfer note on request.
For repeat customers we can keep the paperwork consistent across a job so your site file is complete when someone asks for it.
