What usually goes wrong with an office clear-out
Deadlines. A dilapidations clause means the space has to be back to shell by a date, and the schedule always compresses at the end. We plan the loads backwards from your handover date rather than turning up and working out the volume on the day.
Access is the other one. Manchester city centre buildings share goods lifts between tenants, and Trafford Park units have space but strict site rules. Both are fine when they're planned. Neither is fine when a van rolls up at 9am on a Monday with no booking.

Clearing an office without stopping the business

Data, WEEE and the paperwork your finance team will ask for
Anything with a drive on it needs handling properly. Old PCs, servers, copiers with internal storage and even some desk phones hold data, and they fall under WEEE rules as well. We'll separate IT equipment from general waste rather than tipping it in one load, and arrange secure destruction where you need it.
Filing cabinets are the other one. If they still contain records, decide before the day whether they're being confidentially shredded or moved, because a cabinet of client files should not leave the building on a general waste van.
