The same furniture can be a straightforward ground-floor collection or a longer carrying job from an upper floor. A narrow turn in the stairs, a lift too small for a sofa or a locked communal entrance all matter. Photos of the route help us plan the job before the team reaches the building.

Some buildings need a goods-lift booking or protective arrangements; check these with the manager before collection. If the flat has stairs only, send a photo of the landings and any tight doorways, especially for beds, wardrobes and corner sofas.
Confirm how the team gets through the main entrance and who can provide a key or fob. Shared corridors are not a place to leave a whole clearance waiting. Planning the carrying route keeps communal access in mind and avoids discovering a locked gate or unavailable lift halfway through the job.
Parking and loading around Stockport
